Nature, with the
color turned up.
I’m Mridula, the artist behind Mridga. My paintings are inspired by nature, bold color, and the changing light throughout the day.
I paint flowers in their natural landscapes—from bellas and irises to sunflowers. I’m drawn to how they belong to a place: the surrounding greenery, the movement of the sky, and the light that changes the mood of a scene.
I paint with visible marks and vibrant contrasts. Petals reach outward, skies turn in circles, and color carries movement across the canvas. The result is my own expressive view of the natural world.
My practice
Room for color to move.
I work in acrylic and oil, letting each composition find its shape—sometimes reaching upward in portrait, sometimes unfolding across a landscape.
I’m currently looking for local exhibition opportunities: places where people can spend a little time with the paintings and experience their color and texture in person.
